I served 22 years in the Royal Navy, specialising in Electronic Warfare (EW) - I attained the rank of Warrant Officer in fourteen years. On leaving the RN, I joined the MoD Civil Service, and became an Intelligence Officer for the Defence Intelligence Staff (DIS) in London. I performed this role for a further 23 years and left as a B2 grade Civil Servant in 2021. I am a highly motivated individual with the strongest communication and interpersonal skills. I have led, built, empowered, mentored and managed many teams of analysts throughout my military and Civil Service careers. I am willing to consider a range of employment options, from full/part time to contracting/consultancy. I am willing to travel and work away from home as necessary. I have extensive knowledge of the UK intelligence infrastructure and the Ministry of Defence and am considered by peers and supervisors to be a natural leader and builder of successful teams, delivering bespoke solutions for customers across government.
