The role is aimed more for a male individual, as you will be a stand-off companion to the principal who is a mature independent gentleman, who may need some non-medical assistance on an infrequent basis now, but who may need more low level help in the future.
You will also have other duties on the estate, which will be discussed at the time, but these will be of a very low level facilities management type, making sure that the estate runs smoothly and liaison with the Management Company.
There is also a bit of low level security, as a well-marked public footpath runs along one side of the estate, making sure that individuals do not stray too close and impinge on the privacy of the estate.
This role has come about, as he lives on his own with his nearest family based in the Home Counties and London and the role will be to primarily monitor his safety and well-being on a day to day, but at the same time respecting his privacy and independence.
In return, there is a new built 3 bedroom unfurnished flat which has been converted above the “stables†for you use and which is about 5 mins walk from the main house. The estate is also about 15 mins by car to the nearest sizeable town.
Also there is no restriction on the partner on working outside of the estate.
