The business itself is flourishing, with a full order book, a retail outlet and strong links to a small art gallery. It has its own well-equipped workshop, and all tools, equipment and existing stock will be included in the sale. There are currently two part time employees in addition to the partners. It is situated in an area of growing prosperity and there is considerable scope for expansion in due course. The current owners are also willing to assist the new owners with an extended induction/training/hand-over period which could continue for several months if required.
The current owners are also very keen to maintain the reputation they have built up over the years, and will be very selective in who they sell to. It will require at least two people to take over and run the business effectively. They will need a combination of artistic, artisan and business skills between them. They could be a married couple or two people willing to set up a formal business partnership.
