Commissioning Engineer vacancy in Manchester (280jc)

My client, a niche engineering company in the design and manufacture a range of electronic control panels are now seeking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer to join their team.

Your role will be to cover England and Wales as part of a small commissioning team working mostly on an individual basis to ensure that newly installed electronic control systems have been installed and are working as the Manufacture expects.

The role also requires annual visits to sites to re-commission previously installed equipment normally on an annual basis.

They manufacture gas detection systems and gas pressure proving systems for use with the built environment. Their clients are specifying engineers and our customers are usually mechanical and electrical contractors. The users of their equipment are the building users who are of various types. These include the Ministry of Defence, Education estate, Hotel & pub chains. Industrial manufacturing plants and many other types of end users.

They are seeking someone who has an interest in electronics with good communication skills with a friendly personality fits the bill for this position. No previous experience is necessary as training will be given. The successful applicant will have the opportunity for outside training for the 18th Edition and GasSafe training, though not necessary for the role it does add to the knowledge base for a commissioning engineer. Further personal development training can be undertaken also.

In return they are offering an excellent start salary in the range of £28k-42k with company car/estate car which depends on the skills and ability you can bring with you.
