My client, who was established in 1887, and is one world’s leading project development and construction groups and are now seeking a Ventilation Package Manager for one of its key PFI projects in Central London.

Their Building services team delivers mechanical and electrical engineering solutions to help clients maintain their buildings, to save time, and improve performance. They also provide specialist interior and exterior finishing services, and the latest off-site fabrication and virtual modelling techniques. And, because we create joint ventures with other areas of the Corporate business, joining them means that you could be involved in some of the UK’s most iconic development projects.

To work as part of a team being responsible for providing a specialist service to estates engineering maintenance and other hard FM services across the SBH site.

Primary responsibility is undertaking the role of Ventilation Package Manager/ Authorised Person responsible for the integrity of the Ventilation Systems infrastructure to a statutory compliant state for the hospital and for providing technical leadership on the ventilation systems for the site teams.

You’ll:
• Provide technical input on the development and continued review of maintenance PPM tasks (both content and frequency) to ensure that the Building Services are being delivered in full compliance of Contractual and Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations
• Take an active role in helping to ensure that reactive systems, equipment and services within the Hospital are achieved within targets set
• Undertake regular reviews of Ventilation equipment performance; produce reports on request, decision making and proposals from data to support maintenance decisions
• Review and control Risk Assessments and Method Statements associated with responsible discipline for self-delivered and sub-contractor works
• Actively participate in sub-contractor performance review meetings for their responsible contractors
• Manage various (small works) mechanical projects with both in-house staff and contractors

• Professional knowledge acquired through qualifications and experience
• Specialist knowledge acquired through courses and experience or equivalent
• Possession of Safety Qualification desirable eg. IOSH Managing Safely
• Authorised Person (Boiler & Pressure Systems)
• Authorised Person (Confined Spaces)
• Authorised Person (Ventilation)
