Construction Manager vacancy in Belgium (291jc)

My client, who are an international construction company are now seeking a Construction Manager to join one of their major contracts in Belgium, however, you will need to have right to work in Europe in place already.

You will be reporting to the Project Director and your main duties will include:
• Responsible for overall project co-ordination on site
• Liaising with stakeholders on the project
• Liaise with Design Team members
• Planning and co-ordinating the works
• Management of the package contract procurement process
• Program inputs, management, and tracking
• Buildability and interface management
• Commercial monitoring/reporting on cost impacts on the project
• Safety overview of all works activities on site
• Risk Management & mitigation
• Reporting regularly (daily/weekly/monthly)

To be eligible for this role you will need the following:
• Must be able to work and travel without any restrictions in the EU, particularly in Belgium.
• Degree qualified preferable but not essential in lieu of specific hands-on experience.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience working as a Construction Manager preferably within the Pharma Industry (Pref cleanrooms experience) or similar.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication skills; ability to engage and build relationships at all levels. High attention to detail.
• Very high level of English Language skills are needed as all reports etc are in English.

In return they are offering an excellent package which will be dependent on experience but gross salary range of €75 - €90k plus travel expenses associated with the role are covered (flights, accommodation, internal travel and subsistence).
