As an Associate Network Engineer, you will work with project managers and technical leads to provide in-depth knowledge to deliver technical outputs, helping to design, implement and deliver new systems and solutions

Day to day you will be responsible for:
• Delivery: Responsible for delivering quality technical outputs to time and budget for programme, project and bidding activities. Responsible for identifying problems and providing pragmatic solutions.
• Undertake tasks of increasing complexity through the derivation of solutions using existing practices
• Provide new perspectives and challenge existing solutions for new tasks.
• Contribute to process improvements
• Supporting technical aspects of proposals
• Provide estimation of effort required for medium/large tasks

This is a full-time post, 37 hours per week, based on site at Farnborough.

Essential experience of the Associate Network Engineer
• Experience working with a broad and comprehensive range of concepts and principles within the areas of communications, IT, networking and cloud computing
• Experience working on a range of engineering projects
• Proven interpersonal/communication skills
• Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in own domain.
• Good motivation and drive to see issues addressed.
• Ability to stimulate creative ideas and help integrate your contributions into attractive, deliverable solutions.

Qualifications for the Associate Network Engineer
• A degree in engineering or relevant experience working on IT architecture.
• Desirable Certification:– CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA A+/N+/S+

Please note that all applicants must have SC clearance as a minimum.
