Motorcycle Technicians (054jc) – Maidenhead or Alton - £26 to 35k DOE with OTE up to £45k

My client who are a major Motorcycle Franchise holder are now currently seeking to recruit a number of Motorcycle Technicians from Trainee though to Master Technicans to join their expanding and dynamic team.

For the Trainee roles, you will need to have a good understanding of motor mechanics and the ability to transfer your knowledge and experience into the Motorcycle trade, and for more experienced technicians, your salary will be commensurate with your experience, and they are also seeking individuals who can carry out Part 1 and 2 MOT’s as well.

Therefore, your duties will be, depending on your skills and experience will be:

Master Technician and Technician:
Key Responsibilities:
• Run complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on motorcycles.
• Lead, mentor, and support workshop staff.
• Ensure all work complies with companies’ high standards and safety regulations.
• Meet service targets.

Trainee:
• Learn and assist in motorcycle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Support the workshop team and contribute to maintaining companies’ quality standards.

To be eligible for these roles, as an experience engineer you will need:
• Extensive experience as a motorcycle technician, with specific expertise in high class models.
• Relevant certifications, including Master Technician status, for the Master Post
• Strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.

For the Trainee role:
• Mechanical experience, with a keen interest in motorcycles.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt.

The ideal candidate would fall into one or two areas, for the experience roles, you will need to have significant experience of working with motorcycles and for the trainee post, good all-round vehicle mechanics knowledge and the desire to learn and develop in this trade. But in all cases, the company is also looking to further develop and grow your skills base as well as ongoing personal development in this field.
