My client who are an established Green Recycling company who have recently undergone a significant investment program are now seeking to recruit an additional Electrical Maintenance Technician for their expanding operation.
You will be reporting to the Site Manager and or Maintenance Manager, and you will be responsible for carrying out installations and repairs on electrical apparatus, systems and electronic features of equipment and machinery on site.
Your role will be as follows:
• Installation of machinery as required as well as ongoing preventative maintenance and repair as required by the operation.
• Adjust machinery speed as required for production.
• Assist in departmental maintenance as required and instructed.
• Advise Maintenance Manager on a daily basis of work carried out in order for records to be maintained.
• Ensure general housekeeping of the workshop and other areas of work is maintained.
• Any support as requested within areas of expertise and capability.
• Work at all site locations when required;
You will be measured on the following KPI’s:
• Contribution to achievement of health and safety targets
• Adherence to SWP
• Machine availability
To be eligible for this role you will need the following:
• Experience of Shredder Granulation machines would be an advantage.
• Experience working both within a Maintenance team and on shift as the only Technician covering the process/plant.
• Good Mechanical Electrical Fault finding will be essential for this role.
• Experience working on Pneumatics Hydraulics and PLC controllers will be a key advantage.
• C&G level 3 Electrical Engineering with 17th addition and good mechanical aptitude and skills
The ideal candidate would be someone who has a strong electrical background who is able to get stuck into the role and who is willing to go the extra mile when needed.
You will be working a 2-shift system, week one, 1530 to 2359hrs and week two 2200 to 0630hrs.
In return they are offering up to £18 ph, with a lot of overtime available as well as 28 days leave, Company Pension Private Medical insurance Perkbox scheme, as well as free on-site parking, canteen and uniform, as well as joining a company on the ground floor that is looking to expand and grow in the future.
