My client, who is a major telecoms provider, is now seeking a Project Manager (TI Programme) for their operations in Saudi Arabia, you will be reporting to the TI Senior Programme Manager and you will have a team reporting to you.

Primary Objectives and Functions:

• The provision of a range of project management services in order to co-ordinate and facilitate the successful implementation of the TI projects in KSA. Specifically delivery projects include:
a. TI2A;
b. TI DETW;
c. TI2B – Stages 1 to 3;
d. IPND NGSS;
e. IPND TI.
• Close interaction with the following key stakeholders to ensure delivery success:
a. Broad range of subcontractors including Civils, LMS, VDI, TE/PE and Courseware;
b. SANGCOM MOD TI Programme Team;
c. Company Departments;
d. Company IPND Team to ensure IP delivery as above.
• Accountable for the effective and timely delivery of multiple projects throughout their lifecycle to UK MOD, that contribute towards the Company’s annual Order Book and Sales target.
• Ensuring project customer satisfaction through effective delivery.
• Identifying, mobilizing and managing resources both inside and outside the company for successful projects delivery.
• Managing acceptance and handover of delivered projects to the end user and the operations and maintenance community
• Ensuring appropriate internal processes are complied with at all times.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

The TI Projects Manager is the primary interface to the customer (UK MOD and SANG) for all TI Equipment and Training business activities, and is responsible for creating through-life, value for money solution proposals and then delivering the projects at minimal risk to the Company. The Projects Manager has the following responsibilities:

• Advise on the strategy and use of Technology Enhanced Learning within a modern training environment.
• Creating and maintaining accurate plans, reporting on progress and status, and securing appropriate resources required to meet target and other milestones.
• Ensure the correct implementation and maintenance of the project management plans, covering all aspects of the TI project.
• Define functional resource requirements against work packages, and secure resource allocation as required.
• In conjunction with commercial and finance, produce and maintain a high level cost model for the projects, and be pro-active in controlling project finances.
• Collate and issue progress reports for the projects in line with the agree programme template.
• Co-ordinate the risk management, quality, health and safety for the projects.
• Ensuring the project administration is of high quality, accurate and up to date and in accordance with governance processes and procedures.
• Ensure efficient use of Company resources to deliver Continuous and high level of Customer satisfaction
• Foster and maintain a Close working relationships with the customer based on trust and adaptability

Contact with others (Internally / Externally / Meetings):

The TI Senior Projects Manager is an important representational role for the company. The post-holder will be expected to manage effective business relationships with a wide stakeholder group including:
• Internal: Regular contact, as defined and required, with:
a. Functionally reports into TI Senior Programme Manager;
b. NGSS Staff
c. Project and Delivery Staff

• External: Regular contact, as defined and required, with:
a. Sub-contractors;
b. SANGCOM MoD TI Programme Team;
c. SANG Signal Corps Liaison Officers and Staff within the NGSS

• Meetings:
a. To lead or contribute to formal meetings, correspondence reports and minutes.
b. To lead workshops related to the TI Programme in order to develop appropriate solutions.

Note: Overseas travel will be required.

JUDGEMENT / DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY (Specific Responsibilities):

• Judgement / Authority as follows:
a. Will have an informed decision making responsibility for Training issues on behalf of the TI Programme;
b. To assist and collaborate with other members of the company as a fully co-operative team member;
c. To maintain an efficient filing system and prioritisation of work;
d. To be pro-active both in developing own knowledge and skills, and in developing required outputs;
e. Commensurate with the above duties and responsibilities and as directed/delegated by the TI Senior Programme Manager.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION (Knowledge and Experience):
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within delivering projects to the MoD.
• Agile Management, PMP or Prince 2 qualified
• Knowledge and Experience of Technology Enhanced Learning
• Sound knowledge and experience of managing budgets.
• Proven track record of delivering successful training projects.
• Have a full understanding and experience of agile methodology.
• Managing people skills
• Held a key training position
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a multi-national, multi-functional team
• Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
• Customer relationship experience.
• Good standard of written and spoken English

As this role is based in Saudi Arabia, candidates must meet all of the minimum qualifications as they are not bound by UK or EU Laws, also only individuals up to the age of 55 will be considered for any of these roles.
