My client who are one of the UK’s leading providers of Wi-Fi solutions in the UK are now seeking a Sector Business Manager to lead a small team dedicated to the Defence sector in the UK.

Their HQ is based in Kingston Upon Thames, however this individual can be based anywhere in the UK, however they prefer you to be based in the Midlands region, as this role will be coving the whole of the UK’s military camps.

Your role will be to manage relationship managers, account managers and consultants to ensure our current business is protected and to drive growth through new opportunities across the division, and you will be working with Product Managers, Pre-Sales, Project Teams and Marketing to deliver market leading solutions to drive growth in the defence sector.

You must have strong knowledge of the sector, understand the technology and the benefits from both a B2B and B2C perspective.

The right individual can expect the backing of the company and a generous salary and commission package which is designed for a high achiever, with the drive and determination to succeed.

To be eligible for this role, you will need the following:
• Strong communicator and action oriented
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and driving new business opportunities
• Sector Expertise- you will need to understand the markets drivers and be able to communicate the proposition
• To hold CxO industry relationships
• Understand the needs of the Defence business stakeholders as well as the endpoint customers
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
• Be able to think commercially and strategically
• Results and Target orientated; self-motivated and ability to work independently

In return, they are offering a highly competitive basic salary and a strong commission/bonus plan for delivering sector growth, as well as Car Allowance, Private Healthcare and Workplace Pension.
