Duty Manager vacancy in Cardiff (176se)

Day to Day:
Supervising the Customer Service function, including the reception area, where our
customers check in to the park.
Managing the Lifeguarding team ensuring that customer safety is our first priority.
Ensuring inspections of equipment and facilities are carried out and recorded.
Managing a shared email inbox with customer enquiries.
Acting as a first point of call for both employees and customers to resolve day to day
issues onsite.
You will be a key holder and have responsibility for opening up and closing the site.
Working on an agreed shift rota, covering 7 days a week, with some early starts and late
finishes.
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- A related degree, such as Sports Management/Leisure/Tourism, or Instructor
qualifications.
- A minimum of 2 years’ work experience, ideally in customer service, leisure,
lifeguarding, or managing teams of people.
- Some experience of training and supervising others.
- A genuine love of the outdoors and/or active outdoor hobbies, which could be
Open Water Swimming, Sailing, Cycling, Water Polo, Triathlons, Football, Rugby,
Hockey, Skiing or many others.

You may also have some of the following qualifications:
· NPLQ National Pool Lifeguard, OWL Open Water Lifeguard, NBLQ National Beach
Lifeguard
· FAW First Aid at Work
· RLSS TA Royal Life Saving Society Trainer Assessor
· Swim Teacher qualifications, STA or Swim England
· Instructor/Coaching qualifications

● You need to have the right to work in the UK.
● You will be fully referenced before starting work, so you must provide details of
two referees.
● You will need to undergo a DBS check before you can start work.
