Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 + Bonus + Strong benefits package

Having expanded throughout the last 12 months, they are now looking for a Security Controller and Facilities Manager to be responsible for multiple sites, including a list x site. With this in mind, they are looking for someone that holds either Security Clearance (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV)

Role Description:
The Security Controller & Facilities Manager will have group-wide responsibility for maintaining compliance with all security requirements for the business, as well as facility management of all owned and leased premises, including insight of client sites where the companies various teams operate from.

Main Duties:
• Maintain compliance for the Security Clearance of our List X Production Facility, acting as the conduit for all UK Government Security requirements and enquiries.
• Working with the National Security Vetting providers, Defence Business Services, to undertake security vetting for all new starters and contractors, coordinating renewals and continually developing the organisation’s aftercare programme.
• Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, maintenance, parking, cleaning, grounds maintenance etc.
• Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating are well maintained.
• Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Essential Experience
• Previous security management experience in UK MoD and/ or System Integrators sectors.
• Experience managing an organisation’s physical security controls.
• Confident in advising and persuading stakeholders, gaining trust to ensure compliance and security.
• Experience in championing GDPR and ensuring compliance.
• Previous experience working to government regulations and ensuring standards are met.
